INTRODUCING THE BANK AT AMADOR
Amador (formerly Wingtip, established 2009) is a private club located on the 10th and 11th floors of the historic Bank of Italy building in downtown San Francisco.
The Bank is a new part of the Amador Club, located on the iconic ground floor, where the Bank of Italy opened in 1908. It was here that A.P. Giannini (nicknamed Amador), revolutionized banking by making it accessible to ALL the people of San Francisco. This included having a women’s department, a first in consumer banking. It was also here that Mr. Giannini became a local legend by loaning money to immigrant merchants on a handshake to help them get back on their feet after the 1906 earthquake.
We wish to honor the legacy of inclusion and community established in this location by expanding our club and offering a new tier of membership. We see value in the diversity of our membership and hold character and integrity in the highest regard. Our membership will be a reflection of our beloved city, San Francisco.
The Bank

It was also here that Mr. Giannini became a local legend by loaning money to immigrant merchants on a handshake to help them get back on their feet after the 1906 earthquake.
We wish to honor the legacy of inclusion and community established in this location by expanding our club and offering a new tier of membership. Rather the qualifications are based on the quality of the individual and their contributions to our community. We see value in the diversity of our membership and hold character and integrity in the highest regard. Our membership will be a reflection of our beloved city, San Francisco.

A.P. Giannini’s commitment to community service remains a cornerstone of his enduring legacy. Throughout his lifetime, he dedicated a significant portion of his wealth to support education and the arts. Amador proudly upholds this tradition by contributing a percentage of member dues to both the A.P. Giannini Foundation and local charities that champion the arts.
Club Amenities

Meet
Definitely not your office…and most certainly not your home. The Bank offers a sacred refuge for you to work, meet with colleagues, break bread and be in good company with fellow members. Serving breakfast starting at 8AM and lunch from 11AM throughout the day, we are here for your entire workday. And if you need some more privacy, you have options for parlor rooms and catered lunches upstairs in The Club at Amador.
Lounge
When it’s time to close the laptop and start your evening, The Bank is your new Happy Hour go-to with bar bites, a raw bar, cocktails and a curated wine & spirits selection. And best of all, not just a crowd, but a community… your local San Francisco community comprised of people eager to connect, share, and bond together.
Participate
As a Bank Member, you will also have access to member events organized by Club staff. For almost every interest, there is an event each month for you to join with friends and fellow members.
